Sometimes when you like someone for a while your friends begin to doubt that you can be together and they say "he's not right for you" or "move on." But some people dont want to give up and move on even though their friends dont believe that you two will ever get together. This piece just shows how some people can be feeling when their friends want them to get over a guy.
Everyone says let go
Move on
You deserve better
How can I get it through to them
It’s not that easy.
There’s times when everything seems wrong
And nothing feels like it’s worth it
But then there’s smiles aimed just for me,
And secrets we share that no one hears
And those are the things that keep me standing up for him.
