Kurt Vonnegut-Assignment #2

High school is a huge drama. Everyone is a backstabber or a liar. Friends, well don’t even get me started. Friends are people that you confined in and tell everything to and then they just end up hurting you. The people you trust are your worst enemies, and the people you hate can actually end up being the people you will need most. Everyday people come to school and something among the girls starts. You may be walking down the hallway and hear “You bitch” eco throughout the school. Girls are the most self-absorbed people in high school they stare at themselves in the mirror for hours and finally after looking at every flaw they say “God, I’m so fat.” The main attraction in a high school girl’s life is BOYS. Every girl has to have a boyfriend to show off or they aren’t cool. To boys all that matters is how fast they can get some. Then they go and brag to their friends about how good she was or how he would never do anything with her again. This is the story, the story of how high school drama changed my life…

Errr, quite interesting! Try organizing this into short paragraphs like Vonnegut uses. Great last line. Perhaps this can be the beginning of a short story for independent writing? Think about it.

Morgan, good piece! I didn't think that there could be any better of a definition when it comes to talking about high school!
